Notes

  1. Online Check-in service is not available for
    • Code-share flights operated by other airlines.
    • Group booking.
  2. Online Check-in service is available for
    • China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines international scheduled flights.
    • Passengers with confirmed booking and electronic tickets.
    • Passengers up to 9 persons in single booking record.
  3. If you are not eligible to enjoy Self-Print Boarding Pass and Mobile Boarding Pass service, you may not use Self Baggage Drop Service either. Please pick up boarding pass or check in baggage (if any) at least around 1 hour prior to the flight departure time at the airport to comply with the immigration's inspection and security check procedures.
  4. If you need special service like wheelchair or bassinet, please contact your local China Airlines reservation before Online check-in process.
  5. Pre-order for special meals should be made at least 24 hours before your flight departure. If you have any special needs, please contact your local China Airlines reservation.
  6. You can check in online between 48 hours to 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Flights to the United States (including Guam) are subject to local government regulations, and the check in time is between 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure.
  7. China Airlines passengers departing from Amsterdam may log on our ground handling carrier, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines online check-in website to complete online check-in procedures at 30 hours before your schedule departure time. To ensure that your mileage is automatically credited to Dynasty Member account, please select the button of "Check in with booking details." Do not select "Check in with my account".
  8. If you change to another chargeable seat on the same flight, please pay the new seat selection firstly. You may apply for the refund for the original seat selection fee on CI Official website.
  9. If a booking record has already or partially been completed check-in online but unable to take the flight due to unforeseen reasons, please be sure to cancel check-in online for all passengers, and then contact your travel agency or CI/AE office to change reservation or cancel bookings before the original flight departure. CI will impose no-show fee on passenger who failed to be in compliance with the above requirements and take actions accordingly.
  10. For tickets issued on/before 2023/10/31, if the passenger did not cancel the reservation before the flight took off and eventually fails to board the flight, or for tickets issued on/after 2023/11/01, if the passenger did not cancel the reservation 3 hours before the flight took off, and eventually fails to board the flight, No-Show fee will be imposed and paid by the passenger in accordance with the fare rule of each ticket before being allowed to take subsequent action of date change or refund on the ticket.
