We offer a wide range of meals, from authentic Chinese to world favorite cuisine; our meals are carefully cooked with fresh ingredients to meet your palate.

Special Meals Introduction and Pre-order for All Classes

If you have special meal requirements for infants, children, religious dietary restrictions, or health reasons, pre-order for special meals should be made at least 24 hours before your flight departure. If you have any special needs, please contact your local China Airlines branch office or customer service center, we will verify the meal contents to ensure your food safety and health.

On the Outbound flights from Taiwan(excluding Taichung), you can enjoy THE MICHELIN Green Star restaurant Yang Ming Spring . cuisine by pre-ordering a vegetarian oriental meal(VOML) 24 hours before your flight departure.

  • KSML is not available at KHH/TSA, the supply of KSML on certain routes still depends on the station.
  • OKA/FOC/ISG flights: Only VOML/DBML/BBML/FPML are available for both Business and Economy Classes. If a Child Meal (CHML) is pre-ordered for an infant passenger under 2 years old, a regular meal will be provided on these flights.
  • HKG flights: only VOML/DBML/BBML/CHML/FPML available for Economy Class.
  • Meal selection service is not available for some Extra flights, charter flights, unscheduled and code-sharing flights.
  • Due to system restraint, the system is unable to provide changes to meal selections after the Special Meal has been chosen in your reservation. If you need to modify your Special Meal request, please contact our Customer Service Center or China Airlines Branch Offices at your earliest convenience. As meal preparations are managed by local catering services, we are unable to provide or modify Special Meals beyond the pre-order deadline. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Vegetarian Oriental Meal VOML Prohibit egg and dairy products, and avoiding garlic, onion, scallion, leek and chives.
Flights departing from Taiwan (except Taichung), the VOML is exclusively crafted by THE MICHELIN GREEN STAR Restaurant - Yang Ming Spring .
Vegetarian Vegan Meal VGML Strict vegetarian foods that are typically cooked in Western style, excluding dairy, egg products and honey.
Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo Meal VLML Western vegetarian style with dairy and egg products.
Vegetarian Indian Meal AVML Indian-style vegetarian meal with spices and dairy products, typically known for its spicy taste.
Vegetarian Jain Meal VJML Meal prepared in Indian style according to Jain custom, prohibiting the use of root or bulbous vegetables.
Fruit Platter Meal FPML Fresh fruit or fruit byproduct, dessert. Fruit varies on supply and season.
Vegetarian Raw Meal RVML Meals prepared with uncooked raw vegetables or fruits.

Moslem Meal MOML Meals prepared according to Islamic custom. No pork or related product, gelatin or any kind of alcohol.

Baby Meal BBML Meal service prepared for infants from 6 months ~ 2 years old.

Diabetic Meal DBML Meals designed for diabetic passengers, and meals are low fat, low sugar, high fiber and low salt.
Gluten Intolerant Meal GFML Meals designed for gluten-intolerant passengers, excluding wheat, barley, rye, oats and flour-based products.
Low Calorie Meal LCML Meal designed for passengers who follow a calorie-restricted diet and meals are low fat and high fiber and avoid use of fried food or sugar products.
Low Fat/Low Cholesterol Meal LFML Meal designed for passengers who follow a fat-restricted diet and meals are low fat, low cholesterol and high fiber and avoid use of fried foods or oil.
Low Salt Meal LSML Meal designed for passengers who follows sodium restricted diet.
Low Lactose Meal NLML Meal designed for those who are lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy products.
Bland Meal BLML Meal prepared for passengers who suffer from stomach or intestinal problems. Avoiding irritating foods, no fried or highly seasoned dishes, alcohol, and caffeine.
