Booking Cancellation


If you are unable to take the scheduled flight for any reason, you can cancel the reservation through this system. Please note that ticket refunds must be processed separately.

Cancellation Deadline : .3 hours before flight departure.
Eligibility : .Passengers who are traveling on international flights operated by CI/AE and have not yet completed online check-in (This is for cancellation of the booking only ; ticket refund are proceed separately).
Not applicable:
  • .Cancellation for partial passengers only.
  • .Group passengers (G class).
  • .The itinerary include flights operated by other airlines.
  • .Unable to cancel the booking on-line due to technical or other reasons.
  • In the above cases, please contact your travel agency or CI/AE branch office according to your original booking channel.
  • Notice

    1. If you cancel any flight segment via this portal, all bookings contained in the record will be cancelled simultaneously.
    2. If any passenger has already completed online check-in, please ensure to cancel online check-in before canceling the booking.
    3. Please note tickets have to be used in sequence of the itinerary. If you still need to use your ticket, please contact your travel agency or CI/AE branch offices according to your original booking channel to rearrange your itinerary and reissue the ticket (Fees may apply).
    4. If you want to refund your ticket after canceling the booking, you may be charged for the refund fee according to the ticket rules. Some tickets are only eligible for a refund of the unused taxes.
    5. For tickets which purchased from China Airlines website, Call Center, downtown ticketing office or airport ticketing counter, please apply through Refund Tickets. If your ticket was purchased through travel agents, please contact with your travel agent for refund.
