CHINA AIRLINES has immediately taken a forehead temperature before boarding and advised to wear face masks throughout the flight

n response to the continuing spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), China Airlines is introducing the following epidemic prevention measures effective immediately to protect the health of passengers and crew. We respectfully ask for your cooperation and understanding.

1. All passengers are required to begin wearing a face mask at check-in. The face mask must continue to be worn during the flight and inside the cabin at all times (except for consuming food and drink).

2. All CAL passengers (including passengers transiting through Taiwan) must undergo a temperature check before boarding. Any person with a forehead temperature of over 37.5°C (99.5°F) or unwilling to cooperate with this procedure will not be accepted to board the flight.
