China Airlines "Pikachu Jet CI" Merchandise Now On Sale and Set to Fly Okinawa Route Next Year

The China Airlines "Pikachu Jet CI" has been a runaway success since its launch and flying with the Pokémons has become the new trend in post-pandemic travel. To top off the joy of being surrounded by Pokémons aboard the liveried aircraft, "Pikachu Jet CI" merchandise such as the model plane, mixed snack gift and apron are now going on sale. Passengers on China Airlines' Asia, Guam and Palau routes can order the merchandise, taking the cuteness in the cabin home with them even if they did not fly with a liveried aircraft.

The China Airlines "Pikachu Jet CI" has been assigned to the Taipei (Songshan) - Tokyo (Haneda) route since it made its first flight in October. To give more travelers the opportunity to experience the magic of Pokémons, China Airlines plans to dispatch the "Pikachu Jet CI" on the Taoyuan - Okinawa route starting from January, 2023. As one of the key cities of the "Pokémon Air Adventures" in Japan, travelers will find themselves surrounded by Pokémons in the sky or on the ground. The "Pikachu Jet CI" will also be flying to other Asian destinations including Takamatsu (Japan), Hong Kong, and Danang (Vietnam), giving even more travelers the chance to fill their holiday memories with Pokémons.

"Pikachu Jet CI" Merchandise Available on Selected Routes

A range of limited edition merchandise for online pre-orders has been designed by China Airlines and The Pokémon Company for those travelers that must have them all. First up is the "Pikachu Jet CI Mixed Snack Gift" filled with classic crunchy in-flight snack goodness. Travelers now can start pre-ordering through China Airlines' Duty-free Sky Boutique website for collection aboard the aircraft. In addition to duty-free goods for in-cabin collection, the colorful "Pikachu Jet CI Model Plane" that has attracted a flood of inquiries can now be ordered in-flight for home delivery from now on. The 1:150 scale model aircraft perfectly recreates the 11 cute Pokémons on the liveried aircraft. Orders can be placed with flight attendants on all China Airlines on Asia, Guam and Palau routes, and will deliver to Taiwan only.
